Greeting All,

Finally after break I decided its high time to share some of my work from last few months.

I have been thinking about a full night star trail for years now. But I had to be patient till last year. November, 2016 presented the perfect opportunity with two clear nights in a row around new moon. Photo this week is from one of those nights captured in Exmoor National Park.  Simply put, its 8 hours compressed in to a single image. It contains 942 individual photos for the sky and 3 photos for the fore-ground. I also had the opportunity to apply some of the new techniques I’ve been practicing especially to capture the colors of the stars.

For the sky. exposures were 30sec , F 4.0 ,& ISO 1250 each. The settings for foreground of course was different from one another.

Hope you like the image as well.
